Movie recommendation: An Islamic History of Europe

Yesterday, I finally managed to get through the BBC Four documentary I’ve wanted to watch for a while: An Islamic History of Europe, presented by Rageh Omaar.

The documentary lasts 90 minute and is quite interesting, if only for the idea of “convicencia,” which, I believe, will be an unfamiliar concept to many. But, apart from this, the movie has other merits, such as exposing the vast impact of Arabs on sciences like medicine… [Read more.]
